This policy defines what types of website links will be allowed on Transparent Utah
Definitions
Transparent Utah - The Utah Public Finance Website created by UC67-3-12 and administered by the Office of the State Auditor.
Participating Entity has the same meaning defined by UC67-3-12 1.C
Policy
Only links to official websites of Participating Entities deemed necessary to implement the
provisions of UC 63A-3 will be posted on Transparent Utah as determined by the Office of the State
Auditor
and the Transparency Advisory Board.
Links to commercial or nonprofit entity websites unrelated to a participating state or local entity
will not be allowed.
Exceptions to this policy may be determined by the Office of the State Auditor and the Transparency
Advisory Board.
If a participating entity uses a link instead of sending their transaction data to the Office of the State
Auditor,
they must contact the Office of the State Auditor quarterly to confirm compliance for Revenue/Expenditure
Reports. The participating entity will have to contact the office each year to confirm the display of the
compensation report.
